Hi, I’m Marelin! I’m here to help you feel more at home in your mind and body while supporting you in creating the life you envision.
Many clients begin working with me during a time of transition, uncertainty, or when they’ve decided it’s time to make a change but aren’t sure where to start. They might feel overwhelmed by what they’re carrying, unsure of the next steps, or stuck between knowing what to do and struggling to take action. They’re often navigating a mix of uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, along with a deep desire for clarity, grounding, and growth. These challenges can feel overwhelming, showing up not just emotionally but physically, too, as discomfort in both the body and mind. If this also sounds like you..That’s where I come in. You will be met with a compassionate, collaborative space where you can uncover the tools and insights you already possess or develop new ones to help you move toward the life you want. Together, we’ll explore your goals, celebrate your wins, and navigate the difficult moments, all while honoring your unique journey and needs.About Me
I’m grateful to be in a position where people choose to have me be part of their journey. As a Latina first-generation college graduate and business owner, I understand the complexity of persevering through life’s challenges. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in various mental health settings: community health centers, college counseling, and research labs. These settings have shaped how I approach therapy, blending evidence-based practices with warmth and compassion.
When I’m not in the therapist role, you’ll often find me playing my ukulele, dancing, spending time in nature, or planning cozy gatherings with loved ones. These moments help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of joy and connection.
“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.”
